How'd you come by your nickname?

Mine is simple, my last name is Boe, and in college my roomate and fellow basket ball team member went by the name of "D.C." as he was from our nations Capital.
He started calling me Turboe and it just stuck. That is what everyone called me. In fact I would hazard to guess that probably half of the people that new me as Turboe had no idea what my real name was.

I didn't plan on staying on the site reall so I just typed in a random name.. HAHA.. I've asked for a name change but never got one.. So here I am.. Vikez4Lyfe!

Mine is like Reno's. I am from Utah, lol. At the time I joined, there were regulars like SDvikefan, NZvikefan etc. I liked that, and made my name accordingly.

Choosing mine wasn't that hard, it's colorful and goes with a certain side of my personality, I most fascinated with the darker side which I travel. :twisted:

I used the name as part of a fantasy football team name a few years ago. Of course, my last name is Shockman, so that's part of it as well. I just thought it sounded cool. :roll:

mine is ............i dunno, instinctive, i was so eager to register i just used whatever came to my mind first, don't really know why i came up with such a name

You should add in your profile your location. When I see your Handle, I always think Uni Texas - Longhorns. That is the common name for Uni TX, is said "U" "T".
Just a suggestion, cause I have thought this whole time that you we an alum from U.T.

Everyone knows that UT is located in Knoxville and the orange is a little brighter.

That reminds me....
An Auburn fan, an Alabama fan and a UT fan all bump into each other one day and the Alabama fan says to the Auburn fan.
"That sure is a nice sweatshirt you have there A-U-B-U-R-N whats that stand for?
And the Auburn fan says "it stands for Alabama Usually Beats Us Round'about November."
Then the Alabama fan then turns to the UT fan and says, "what about yours?.........." To which he replies.......

Thats almost as crazy as those people that continue to refer to Southern Cal as "USC" when everyone knows that the "Real USC" as they say down here is University of South Carolina Gamecocks. (Troy's Alma Matter just to tie this back to Vikings). Since "The Real USC" was founded nearly 80 years before the interlopers from the west it must be the real one...
