Re: How to Retain a Neutral Point of View

When involved in intellectual debate or irrational [ignorant] conflict, it's best to keep a neutral point of view and realize that in order for something to exist, it has to be created first. Wait, isn't that a creationist view?

Stay away from whackos if they exhibit signs of being extremists.
Good stuff, but if I had read this earlier I couldn't have engaged in the forum

Luckily most of us are opinionated assholes.

Avoid seriously offensive or harsh dialogue with close-minded individuals, whether they be strictly scientific, racially inclined, or religious fanatics, as humans are known throughout history to make small issues escalate into serious wars that result in violence and bloodshed.
Swearing and slurs seem to help get the point across.
