Thread: how to post pics from your computer

i was wondering how to post pics from your collection on your computer?? :scratch:

I tried to put them in my gallery and even though I made them the right size the wouldn't stick.

So I had to post them on a web site and then a link from here to there.

The signature that you see below is to a link on my personal website where the photo is located.

You go to your profile and put the img above in the signature box.

You can also link to a photo in the avatar section and that will appear under your name in the left hand column.

Recently, there were a few post on the photogallery. They may have some info in there for you also.

photobucket.com hosts pics for free. It takes about 1 minute to set up an account, then you save a pic from your computer to your new photobucket account. Once you save it there, you can post the pic here by using the [img]yourphotoaddress[img]

For example, right click on my signature below, and click properties, under "Address: you will see the following:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v518/SKOL/BrushedSig.gif .

My signature pic is hosted on my photobucket account. I got it to show up in my signature by hitting the Img button, pasting the http: location and hitting the Img button again.

you gotta make sure you use http:// and the web address...thats when most make a mistake.

The photo albums on here make a thumbnail for you and then fit your pic to the max size allowed as well...
