How long is too long?

I got a girl's phone number Saturday night. I figured I'd give her a call tuesday evening to see if she wanted to hang out sometime later in the week (my 2nd shift work schedule makes it hard to plan social events). Is tuesday too soon to call? too late? keep in mind she doesn't have my number yet and i've only met her once.

Also, should we meet for a lunch before work or meet after midnight on friday night? There isn't much to do late night where we're from, so maybe the lunch?

All tips, ideas are welcome.

I never put much stock in that theory though...if you guys hit it off it won't matter when you call her. Just make sure when you do call her you have plans in mind and a time. Say "We're doing x at x time" not "Well what do you wnt to do? I don't care./Neither do I" and then go back and forth like that.

That gets annoying and girls like a guy that is decisive.

Decisive I am, BUT my work schedule sucks. 4pm-1 or 2am M-Th. and 3-12 Fri. What should i do? lunch before? meet after? and how soon? weds, thurs, fri? wait till the weekend when i have more time (don't work weekends)?

I saw call her this week (any time really) and set up an evening date for the weekend.

Call her right now. Leave a message if she doesn't pick up and keep calling on repeat until she answers. If uoi don't talk to her by 10 tonight, her phone must be broken and you should go to her house. Bring some sliders from White Castle, a box of wine, and wear lots of after shave. Your welcome.
