When I was a kid I had a N-guage train set that had a gas station with it. There was a sign advertising the gas prices. "Hi-test", aka premium, was 21.9 cents per gallon. Regular was 17.9.
I remember my parents lamenting the fact that gas had gone over a dollar and was not coming back down.
It broke two dollars when I was driving, and I could not comprehend why it never came back down. The reasons given always seemed to be temporary ones, like problems in the middle east which were later calmed... but the price never went back down.
Ah, well, those were the good old days.

I think that sounds about right, it got down to .969 for 2 days then its up to 1.129 now

Mine yesterday was 101.9. Last couple weeks it was under a dollarWe're bringing purple back.
