How far will US team go?

Just wondering what everyone thinks.

They lost to Puerto Rico. That's pretty bad in my book. I think they will make the cut but not get a medal.

They might make the bronze medal. This U.S. team shows the true failure of the NBA. When you put together a team of "it's all about me" players, even though they are some of the best in the world; they just can't compete as a complete unit. Sure they are all stars but, when nobody is willing to sacrifice their personal stats for the team, how are they supposed to win?
Take for example, the Lakers; 4 players in the hall of fame, and still no championship. It will always be about teamwork, in any sport. Without that no team can win.

The Dream Team should GO BACK TO SLEEP or at least go back to your NBA team and collect millions after the loss to PR these guys should have been taken out back and shot. It was not a bad day it was like the seagulls in finding NEMO "mine" "mine" "mine" "mine"....Dream Team go home.... WHAT an Embarassment... Turkey and Germany almost beat them pre Quailifiactions.... Brown needs to put a foot squarely up there back sides all the way home, I am not even watchen and if they win anything they need to give it to someone else... they do not deserve to be there playing...

I see no medal. I thought they got it going after getting tamed by italy in exhibiton but what happens??? They lay another egg in the opener vs rico. Unless there is some kind of miracle in which the team finds out to actually play like a team, i dont see them getting anything.

If they win their next game, I can see them placing for a medal. If they lose their next game, they are done.

Hopefully Larry Brown can work some of his coaching magic.
