Hotels in downtown Minneapolis?
Hi guys.
I'm planning a trip to MN for the Packers game in 09. Dunno which hotel to choose though, but hopefully you can help me.
Requirements:
breakfast included in price
Needs to be a 3-star hotel
Near the dome (walking distance)
Would be nice to get some info on places to watch football, bars, clubs, restaurants, places to go as well. We will be approx. 40 danes and 50% of them will be Vikings fans.

Are you on the same tour with Skum?
He's coming in from Denmark for the same game.
Priceline.com is pretty good:

Re: Hotels in downtown Minneapolis?
Hey simonsparre,
Have you considered some of the hotel down by the Mall of America?
The light rail runs from the mall right up to the Metrodome, so getting to the game is very easy.
It is where I always stay when I spend the night in the Cities.
Downtown Minneapolis is nice, as many will attest to here, but there isn't as much touristy stuff to do.
The Mall of America offers quite a bit to do, and there is easy transportation to other spots as well.
I usually stay at the Country Inn and Suites Mall of America.
Here some additional info: http://www.mallofamerica.com/adults_hotel_reservation.aspxZeus wrote:
