Honestly Thanks to Those who have
I Did My Time. Today I am Released from Any Active duty Restrictions. Those of you still nAAR or on on any other type of duty were you can be called up. Thanks and Be carefull. Love Ya JJ 2nd bn RFFR

I guess i was off IRR in june '99. I never once reported for anything, so i would sometimes i was ready reserve to begin with.
The ribbon is the 'Gulf War Ribbon'.

Honestly. I have no clue what that means, what the abbreviations stands for...

IRR= Inactive Ready Reserve
After serving in the military, unless you retire, you're obligated to 4 more years inactive. You'd only get called, if the regular mil. was getting short on [s]man[/s] person power, and needed to call some up. At that point, the reserves would be called, and as a last resort, Inactive Ready Reserve.
This is how i understand it, but i've been off IRR for nearly 10 years, and no longer active for 13. I suppose it's possible it has changed, or i had it wrong in the first place. Feel free to correct me anyone.The ribbon is the 'Gulf War Ribbon'.

Not saying I agree with the protesters in THIS STORY, but if they're being fined $11 Million dollars for protesting at a soldier's funeral... why did the soldier die in the first place?Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.
