Hockey season

I dont care always hated the game and I hope it never comes back at all!!

I think the lock-out will be good for the game as long as they can get a good CBA that is good for the game, and both sides can live with. Including a salary cap that will make all teams equal (like the NFL).

Look at Baseball, the Twins win their division but have no shot at going to the world series (sorry Twins fans). They will have to play the Yankees or Redsocks sooner or later and they will lose because the talent that those teams have is bought and paid for.

NY payroll $195 Mill
Boston $180 Mill
Twins $57 Mill

How do teams compete with that kind of advantage.

Santana will be gone when his contract comes up, NY or Boston will buy him, Twins can not afford to pay him the kind of money his agent will want (that sucks)

You don't think the Twins have a chance at the series. Think again. Payroll has nothing to do with it (well it does, but c'mon) give us a chance. In a short series if Santana and Radke pitch as dominating as they have been we will win in four. If we play the yanks in the first round we can get to the series! Santana will win game one, Radke game 2, Silva or Lohse will lose game 3 and Santana will win game 4.

Sorry VKG4LFE, either team we face we will lose to.

Santana will do well, he is amazing. Radke is iffy. 3rd pitcher who ever it is will get killed.

The players for Yanks or Boston will step it up in post season and the Twins will be done.

Very good points whackthepack. We will only do well if both Radke and Santana pitch gems in their games and we get our sticks moving right away against the starters because if it gets to the yanks bull pen they are lights out!
