    It all depends.

Do you have a vehicle waiting for you there?

How much time do you have total to take the trip?

    Do you like to drive?

Have you quit beating your wife yet?
Yes, I used to work for a Honda dealership, so they will loan me a car.
    2 full weeks.
    No.
    I don't have a wife. Or a life.

I walked to the south side of town and took a mini-vacation. It didn't cost much, just a few blisters and a bottle thrown at the back of my head.
I REALLY don't want to vacation on the south side of Tucson.

Although the two full weeks would give you plenty of time to drive there, I would just fly and use the loaner car...more time to spend there having fun!!!

    secret.. frequent flyer miles..

my whole family of six is going to hawaii off of them.

not to mention we went to minnesota a month ago off of them..

thats 12 round trips off of frequent flyer miles.. not to mention my sister goes to minny ever year off of them, and my mom goes up there ever now and then..

so the secret is to get a job that has you flying all over the place nearly every week...

then when you vacation, you can nearly for free
I think I lost all the FF miles I had through United. I have a job that will fly me all over the world, but either on a C-130, KC-135, KC-10, or a C-17, and they won't take me to where I want to go.

    Tommy Boy,

Hey, I will send you some photos from New Zealand this summer. It will be work related all except for 11 days that is. During those 11 days, we will be snowboarding and traveling the Fjords.

Yes, budgets are tight all the way around.

Well, when I get back, I will have one of those frequent flyer tickets that potus was talking about waiting for me also. It is a ton of miles to travel to NZ and back.
Did you just use my first name???

Are you going home this summer?

Sometimes you have to plan a little different when times are tough..

Instead of some big, far away vacation, my wife Margie, David and I, went to the coast line here in CT and into RI for the weekend....Stayed one night in a hotel at $169.00 a night and that alone is hard to swallow. But when it comes to free time and spending it with family, that is priceless to begin with....Hell, you only live once..

Here is a pic of us at Mystic Marine Life Aquariume in Mystic, CT....

Hey Ned, love the hat buddy..
