ha my recruiter for the marines even says it's a joke that i have to go to workouts for them because i am solid and set for bootcamp already. The requirements I already fill for camp. You have to run at least a mile and a half in under 12:00 and I did it in 9:59, at least 6 pullups, I did 13, and 50 Marine Corps. Crunches. Marine Corps crunches are insanely hard and I did like 80 the last time I did them
Boot camp is not just for getting you in physical shape - you come in a civilian and out a jar head.
You need a different mind to be a marine.
They'll get you straight in no time.
    ;D

But seriously it's a great commitment and we should all be thankful.

It's a lot more fun (ultimate frisbee) than people think. Good exercise too. I suggest giving it a try if you ever have the chance.
I played ultimate in college (pick-up) and then while in NYC (pick-up and club).
Softest throws in the business, but the smoking thing has always hampered my defense.

Now I shudder to think what would happen if I tried to get out there and run, although my throws are still there (and I can still sky for a grab).
    Old enough to play Masters.

Yeah, games can get pretty intense too. It makes for a good workout too.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

I'm way to young for masters but I have played with a masters team in a tourny.
    It's a thing of beauty.
These guys don't want to run and they can all throw very well.
I was scoring points left and right because I was the athlete. lol

I'm pretty tall and skys are kinda my thing.
