    Re: Help finish this poem!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the land,
the Vikings were 6-8 because the offense was bland

Johnson was pulled, to old they said,
He couldn't throw the ball when in the red

The receiver heads hung by sidelines with shame,
In hopes that they wouldn't drop a pass again

    The O-line wasn't blocking, the D-ends couldn't sack
But Williams and Williams were keeping the run-stuffing on track

On to the bandwagon some jumped
In hopes TJack would get them over the hump

T-Will was reading a book wearing his glasses
About how a WR should not drop so many passes

Chester was out for a late evening run,
While Childress was reading "Offense 101"

gol 'darnit it boys put down those books
We have a game to play that begins with foot

    On Marcus,
on TWill everbody move your butts
Were going to throw you the ball till it drives you nuts

The Offensive Line was watching film when we pass,
But all they saw was their heads in their A$$

And when the season is over, the purple faithful will wonder
What kind of O strategy put our Mighty Vikings asunder

A good player and good WR is a must,
Since Troy Williamson turned out such a dang bust
