Hubert H. Humphrey pissed next to me in a restroom in Winona, MN when he was running for president.

    Jimmy K. you lucky bastage!
I wonder if they were the ones that gave him his nickname...Kleinsausage!

I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

I hunted pheasants in Nebraska one time with Curt Gowdy.

    I'm sure they were.
My cousin said those two were known to accomodate all the football players, and some of the hockey players.

Re: Hello Mr. _____________, glad to meet you.

I got to shake hands with the great Muhamad Ali onboard the USS George Washington.
It was very interesting to watch him interact with the crew on the flight deck.
He shadow boxed with almost everyone that did it first.
Took him almost two hours to get from one end of the ship to the other end.
With his condition it was very impressive.

I helped escort Barbara Eden around the base during a layover during one of her USO tours when I was in Rota Spain.
She was very tired from lots of traveling but was very polite and thanked us for our service long before it was en vogue.

I said hi to Danny Ainge and Cheryl Miller in Atlanta airport.
She said hi back but Danny was a butt head and ignored me.

I also got to talk to the "Black Widow", Jeanette Lee in Vegas for about 30 minutes. Very interesting lady, although I can't remember much of what she said.....
She is even hotter in person.
    :-*
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Re: Hello Mr. _____________, glad to meet you.

I shook hands with the last two mayors of Washington DC (Anthony Williams and Adrian Fenty) at Nationals baseball games as they were making their way up the aisles during their respective terms.

My wife (the NON-sports fan) meets more sports figures than most sports fans...she met Emmitt Smith, Marshall Faulk, Roger Clemens and Yao Ming when she was a concierge at The Ritz-Carlton...and she met Darrell Green, who was a personal friend of her last boss, while working as a household manager.

My best "I met someone famous" story is when I met Gary Coleman...but I have to tell the story in person, as it isn't quite as funny reading it...so ask me the next time you meet me at a tailgate or other Vikings function (I will be at Vikings training camp on Friday, July 27 for those who will also be there).
I also saw Tiny Tim at the Minneapolis airport the first time I ever went to the TC...although he was very shy and didn't want anyone to approach him (so I let him be and just waved at him).
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: Hello Mr. _____________, glad to meet you.

When the super bowl came to houston, where i happen to live, i went to the mall just for kicks with some friends.

we were bored teenagers walking aimlessly through the mall and some dude smashed his elbow/forearm right in my head. It was partly my fault because i wasn't paying attention, but i was still a little ticked; I mean there was no "sorry" or "my bad" or anything! i turned around to see who it was, 6ft.4in. kellen winslow! so got jacked up by kellen winslow pretty much............
