yea.. i'm not sure if every place has the Good Samaritan Law, but yea... pretty gol 'darnit sad.
actually if you have had EMT or EMC (can't remember) training your supposidly set up to be on the spot first responce medical care, and in some states by law required to do so.

Good Sammaritain law is actual(I belive) applies if you render aid to someone and you are trying to help and give aid you cannot get sued if you injure the person while rendering aid. The example would be that if you preformed CPR on someone and you broke their ribs while doing so(This haooens quite a bit, scary as hell when it happens to but that is another story) they cannot turn around and so you because it happend.

Hit-and-run victim left in street without help, 'Like a dog they left him there'

    cnn.com

HARTFORD, Connecticut (AP) -- A 78-year-old man is tossed like a rag doll by a hit-and-run driver and lies motionless on a busy city street as car after car goes by. Pedestrians gawk but appear to do nothing. One driver stops briefly but then pulls back into traffic. A man on a scooter slowly circles the victim before zipping away.

The chilling scene -- captured on video by a streetlight surveillance camera -- has touched off a round of soul-searching in Hartford, with the capital city's biggest newspaper blaring "SO INHUMANE" on the front page and the police chief lamenting: "We no longer have a moral compass."

I know that if Ned had happened upon this guy that he would have stopped to help (as all Vikings fans would).
Must've been a bunch of Patriots fans (who have no moral compasses like Belichick) that just passed him by.

Get out of Hartford, Ned...as fast as you can!

Actually I'm in New Britain, CT Cajun, but only a stones throw from Htfd.
I can easily say I would have stoped and given aid.
It's still in my blodd to help those in need.
It ties in with my Military training.

Half of those on looker where probably drug addicts,
as I said, the area this took place is infested with crime and drugs.
Looks like the two cars where racing to begin with, or running from the law wouldn't suprise me either.
Most where probably affraid they would get caught with something when the cops came, or just to high to believe their own eyes...

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.
