Ugh...getting old sucks! But thanks for the birthday wishes everyone.
I had a great day and the hubby took me out for a nice dinner plus I got a area rug for my birthday. I know, area rug?? but it's what I really wanted. I had a great area rug that I bought from Pottery Barn last year but our new lab puppy chewed the corners so I have been dying for a replacement but we needed to wait until we knew she was out of her chewing stage. Hopefully she is, and my new rug will be safe.

Besides, I thought that was the gift reserved for the 10th wedding anniversary.
