Happy Anniversary!!!

Probably the most significant game ever for our nation happened 25 years ago today! USA beat the USSR in Hockey to advance to the gold medal round in the 1980 Olympics!

I was only 6 and have not seen the movie Miracle, but I am aware of the importance of this game was, and frankly still is the most important game ever played.

Psssh, that is nothing compared to the '72 summit series between Canada and the Russia.

The only reason that was such a big deal is because the US actually WON an international hockey game

That was a great day! I can remember it clearly. I was still crapping my pants and couldn't see more than a foot in front of my face, being about a year old!! I have the movie Miracle, love it, and I have a documentary on that team too!!
