    Definitely a black eye for Wal-Mart. I hate that corporation anyway. I don't shop there anymore because of crap like this...

    Walmart is all that is wrong with America. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate capitalism. Just certain things that are the result of capitalism such as Walmart and McDonalds.

    What a waste of raw materials! We are already destroying the earth, we don't need more goods that can still be used to be needlessly put into the landfills.
    We're bringing purple back.

    To be fair to Walmart, this is not company policy. They made that clear in the article:
    Wal-Mart spokeswoman, Melissa Hill, acted surprised that these items were found, claiming they typically donate all unworn merchandise to charity.
    I believe the local Wal-Marts here in Fargo donate their unsold merchandise.

    It is apparently company policy at H&M though, and my guess is that this is more of case of individual store management bringing policy with them.
