    Guillen in rare form!

What do you guys think? Homosexual slur or just questioning his courage?

My 110-year old great-great-grandfather told me that he thought that Guillen was a gay fellow.

Of course, he just meant that Guillen was a very happy, joyful man...but it still sounded funny!

Sounds like he was slurring to me. He has been in THIS country long enough to know that we question someone's courage by calling them a woos (how do you spell that, anyway), or a wimp, or a P*&($.

I'm tired of Ozzie insulting my intellegence, that is a lame cover-up excuse for running his Paris Hilton sized mouth!

    Re: Guillen in rare form!

It cracks me up every time Guillen uses the phrase "in my country". He got his US citizenship. This is his country, and I don't remember that term being used around here just to question someone's courage.

Ozzie's on a roll. There was that whole brouhaha last week when he blew up on a rookie pitcher for not plunking someone after Pierzynski got plunked twice. After that, telling the media that if he got hit twice, he'd be in the hospital or dead because he would fight. (When have you ever heard a manager basically telling his guys to charge the mound?) Then this thing. And then last night, he got ejected from the game. The cardinals reliever, Ponson, hit two batters in a row in the 6th with the bases loaded (ie brought in 2 runs), and both benches were warned. So what does Ozzie do in the 7th? He brings in a new reliever, and plunks the first batter they face. Poof! Ozzie and that reliever...gone.

White Sox beat the Cardinals 20-6. It was 14-2 when the two Sox batters got hit, making it 16-2.
