The Great Popcorn Debate.
I was having a debate with a friend about the best way to make popcorn.
What is the best way to make it?
I prefer with vegetable oil in a popcorn popper and like to vary the seasonings tossed on it.
It's tough to go wrong with just butter and salt, but I like tossing some garlic and hot peppers into the mix along with a bunch of other seasonings, dependint on my mood.
What is the best way to make popcorn?
Re: The Great Popcorn Debate.
Butter and salt definitely. If you want to make it healthier, top with olive oil and sea salt...
Re: The Great Popcorn Debate.
The best way is to let Orville Redenbacker make it the microwave.
Re: The Great Popcorn Debate.
I prefer ACT II microwave popcorn over anything else I've made at home. But IMO, nothing beats the pocorn you can get at the movie theaters if it is fresh.
At least at our movie theater here in town.
Re: The Great Popcorn Debate.
Oh I'm all in on this one . . .
Step #1.
Find yourself a bag / bottle of WHITE popcorn.
Step #2.
Pop said corn in an air popper (No oils)
Step #3.
Melt "Land O' Lakes Sweet Cream Butter" in the microwave.
Step #4.
Drizzle the melted butter over your white popcorn and salt to taste.
Yummy! . . . Now I'm gonna go make some!
