    Congrats Thor!
Maybe Webby will hire you as the clinical psychologist for pp.o, we definitely need one on this site.

    Haha, perhaps....

I'm gonna get tagged with the PP.O Frasier Crane, aren't I (even though he was a Psychiatrist...)

I won't say I'm not prone to running my head into a wall... because with this team, I do.
I just question myself about it later...

    Congrats Thor!
My prior next door neighbors were both psychiatrists. She was an Army Captain who worked at Walter Reed and he was a civilian who worked at Johns Hopkins and both were completing their internships.
We enjoyed talking to them at neighborhood parties due to the stories they would share. I remember he would always say that the philosophy at Johns Hopkins was to Medicate and Isolate.
    Maybe a half truth there?
But seriously, what a reputable school and they kick ass in Lacrosse.
Baltimore is really not such a bad place and there is always plenty of things to do. We have learned to love it here and if this is where you end up, I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here also. Of course, that is what free time you get which I hear isn't much.

Best of luck, hope you get your first choice. If you end up in Baltimore, maybe we can get together for a game.

Re: Great Internship News - I'm moving to Omaha, Nebraska

Well everybody, I'm not going to Baltimore - I'm actually going to Omaha, Nebraska.

I got my 2nd choice, which considering 21% of the applicants did not get ANY site, is great!

I'll be working at the Munroe-Meyer Institute, part of the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
The nice part about this site is that most of their faculty are actually ex-Johns Hopkins faculty

It's pretty nice - very much an up-and-coming facility which I suspect will become even more prestigious in the next few years.

Plus, it's close to home, close to my fiance, and heck... close enough to hit a home game

If anybody lives in the area, please let me know.
I'll be needing to find a place to live!

    Trust me, I'm a doctor.

Apparently, 4-year-olds smoke pot in Omaha...

    Congrats to you, Corn Husker!

    Tiger to Corn Husker.
Neb is closer to MN than LA, that is good.
Would have been nice to be in MN, but the Omaha/Lincoln area is a nice little metropolis.
Heck, they have the College World Series.

    Congrats!

I drive that much for work on any given week; it's nothing..

Now the fact that I have not skied (sp?) in 6 years may be dangerous... but fun nonetheless.

Thanks - I appreciate the good words!

That is what I was thinking too. There is enough mental decay on here to last a career.
