-What's next? WORK! I have part time work for a local Co. doing research for them.

-Will be checking with the local community college about teaching a history class.

-I also have exclusive access to Civil War letters that have never been touched (or read) for the last 50 years. I will be scanning them into my computer within the next few weeks, writing a scholarly article about them to get published and recognized as a historian.

-I'm helping a writer in NJ with research for his Civil War book.

-Teaching myself Norwegian with the books that they use at St. Olaf's. I have the set for two years of classes.

    Fedje,

    Congrats on your graduation!
    ;D

I'm sure you worked very hard to be where you are today.
I'm very proud of you, and I think it's great.
You actually have me thinking about maybe doing some studies when I'm down in the near future....

    Again, Congrats!

    PS:
I also love history, and the Civil War is a topic I really enjoy learning about.
Maybe you can spend some time telling me some things that you know of, that would be hard to find elswhere...

Okay, you talked me into it -- IF I can afford a ticket and can get a parking space near the tailgate. I refuse to walk to far without an escort as I now know how bad the Raven fans are.
    ;D

Sure all you Civil War fans can ask questions. ;>) I especially like researching the battle at Gettysburg. They have done wonders with the park the last year, cutting trees and brush to make it like the time of the battle, and a new Visitors Center!

LOL! I don't even think I want to know what that is. It sounds like it could be wild rice smothered in white sauce.
