    Gopher's winter sports post season thread!

    The Gophers are leading Michigan in the first round game, it is 53 - 46 with 2 minutes to go in the game!



    Michigan kicked the Gophers butt in the 2 regular season games and was heavily favored in this one!

    Gophers have to win the Big Ten tourney to make it to the big dance!

    1 minute to go and the Gophs still lead 54 to 50!


    Grier only has 7 points! If you have told that in the game he would have only 7 points I would have figured we had gotten beat by 20 points!

    30 seconds left Gopher's by 4, it is 55 to 51!

    Gopher's have had plenty of chances to put the game away and have missed 5 free throws in a roe!

    Gophers win! Upset Michigan, now they have to win out to get to the big dance! Good luck Gophs!

    Hockey Tourney starts tomorrow night, this is going to be a great playoffs for the Gophs!

    1st Victim will be the Alaskan anchorage Sea-wolves! Down in 2 games!

    we should get the #1 seed in the NCAA no matter what happens in the WCHA tourney!

    Monson is not my favorite coach, I wish they would have let him go 2 years ago and got Rick Majerus (spelling ?) to come out of retirement!

    I guess we cannot get too hard on him because they have their full compliment of scholarships and visits now so hopefully he can build a winner.
