Gopher's season over.

Just watched the last few minutes of the Gopher's hoops season tick away against Cincy in the NIT. Seems like the Gophers had a nice season.

Now hopefully the Gamecocks can pull it off against Cincy on Thursday.

i'd have to disagree that they had a "nice" season. They had a decent 2nd half but they fell way too far back in the beginning and were inconsistent.

Yah we pretty much sucked first half actually.. Part of it has to do with playing in the best conference...

But that all changed when my boy Jamal Abu Shamala came in!! Walk on freshman boiiiiiiiii!

They are gettin rid of Mason? Why he is the best coach we have had in a LONG time..

Best record over his time then any coach here

Im kinda scared of next year if we get rid of him.. 4 outta 5 starters are leaving or maybe even 5.. And if we fire him it will be horrible..

New coach and all new starters

The difference in the quality of games between the NCAA tourney and the NIT is amazing. The NIT games look so sloppy and uncoordinated. I watched probably about a half hour yesterday of it, and between the clock keeper at FSU messing up twice and totally screwing up the game and watching Cincinatti take a timeout because no one came back to take the inbounds pass after a made bucket (seriously, that's like Jr. High mistakes) I just couldn't take any more.
