    Update:

    Just got home from the airport. Cassie is on her way home to be with her family.

    Her dad made it out of surgery, and now is in recovery awaiting results of an MRI.

    There is significant potential for brain damage still, as he's sedated and they can't gauge his responsiveness yet.

    We shall know more in the am.

    i went through this with my gramma, they come in and out of clarity for a bit.. it takes time for the brain to recover from the trauma so keep patient.
