    Re: Good thoughts needed.

I hope everything will go well.

I have known a couple of persons going in for bypass. Even if it's scary it's getting routine procedure, and I'm sure you'll be alright.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

A few of you I have shared this with most of you I have not. But I am scheduled to go under the knife on July 9th for Gastric bypass Surgery. And Yes I am scared as hell. I know its a couple of weeks away but this has still been a long decision for me. And Finally it has come to reality. So if your saying your prayers in the next day or to if you could send a shout out to the Big Guy above for me
    it would be greatly appreciated.
    Good luck!
If you want to talk to a fellow Viking fan that had this done recently, contact Al Goldenberg (who is the president of the Northern Virginia Viking Fan Club).

He's a good guy...and one who might be able to allay some of your apprehension about your upcoming surgery.

It could be anywhere from 2-6 weeks. It just depends upon how quick of a healer you are, and if you do what you are supposed to.
