Goldman Sachs
If you really want to see something disgusting, take a look at this. The head of Goldman Sachs, one of the main players (the engineers actually) of the biggest economic collapse in world history, has taken a page out of the "Goodfellas" book and is telling his employees to keep a low profile when they receive this year's obscene bonuses.

The Rolling Stone article referred to is by Matt Taibbi, and should be required reading for every high school and college student in America, let alone every citizen. It details how Goldman employees (current and alumni) have directly manipulated the markets since 1929, and always to their benefit.
Many of the bubbles discussed will not be a surprise to you, but when you read how we have all been f*cked over the years, your blood will boil. Read it and decide for yourself. Taibbi lays it all out very clearly and succinctly, and IMO there can be no doubt as to the direct effect Goldman had on these events, with the help of course of our esteemed elected legislators. It's a very powerful report.

Re: Goldman Sachs
**bump**
This is something each of us should know about. There's something to be said about George Bernard Shaw's quote "If history repeats itself, and the unexpected always happens, how incapable must Man be of learning from experience".

Re: Goldman Sachs
The system does not work at any level and needs to be done away with.
