Thread: Goin' home

Greetings-


I have said many times on this site on how I love living in Arizona.
You know, the weather is great, no snow, blah blah blah.
Well, I've spent 7 years here, and I can say without a doubt that I am ready to move back to the midwest-God's country.
I've had enough of the desert; sand, cactus, weeds, crappy traffic, rude people, random gunfire, killer bees, poisonous snakes, scorpions, poisonous spiders, illegals, the whole smash!
With that being said, I will be moving back to my home of Sioux Falls, SD in a little over a week.
I am sad that I am leaving behind good friends, and most of all, my 15 year old daughter, but I am ready to go home.
When I get there, I will start my training to go to the REAL desert, then over the pond for a short AEF bucket, then back home in early winter.
I really want to go to MLPS for a game so I can meet the Mighty PP.O gang.
I look forward to finally meeting some of the people I read about.
I hope to see you at the Metrodome this season.

Why isn't your daughter going with you?

Glad to see you're finally coming home SV. Looking forward to meeting you at a tailgate this fall.

She will stay in Gilbert (Phoenix) with her mom and stepdad.
She has 4 more years at her current school before she goes to college.
