Glimmer of hope in Big Ten Network-Comcast talks

    http://www.startribune.com/sports/gophers/13718336.html
Big Ten Network President Mark Silverman said Friday he is waiting to hear from Comcast regarding a proposal the BTN made to the cable giant three weeks ago.

"We have moved considerably in our last proposal," Silverman said, "and we've been told we would be hearing from them shortly after the New Year. ... Because of how much we've been able to move and address the concerns we've been told Comcast has had we are hopeful..."

Something does need to be done, cause it's become worse then those politcal smeer campaigns that go on every election year. Everyone pointing fingers, fighting dirty, blah blah blah
What needs to happen, and would make the most sence, put it on free cable in the Big 10 areas, and those outside that market put it on a sports tier. I'm sure there are plenty of Big 10 transplants all over the US and they'd get plenty of customers to buy that package from the outer areas
Or Cable just needs to go to an ala carte forum, choose and pay for what you want, that way i can get rid of and not pay for garbage like Lifetime, Style, Home and Garden and all the other crap channels i pay for but don't watch

Unfortunately i live in an apartment complex, and directly south of my balcony is a big f'n tree blocking the southern sky, so when i tried they were unable to get a signal.
