So you have the man who surpassed the HR record this season and you want to let him go??
Good to see that the team is giving their full support to him..methinks they have been listening to a lot of the negative feedback and comments associated with this gentleman.
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

    Why?
The cheating jurk got what he deserved.
Now the MLB shouldn't let him sign with another team and I'd be happy.
    My sentiments exactly.

I can't say I find this as a shock.. With everything that has gone down with the steroids, plus his knees being weak, and that he plays outfield with a somewhat weak arm, I can see why they would want to go in a different direction.. They are most likely looking at youth, and cheaper players to fill that void.. While they won't necessarily have the power their, they are better off letting him go.. I see him as a DH in the AL next season.. Unless some team in the NL wants to try him at first base for his power..

He'll end up as a DH in Toronto.
And if he has a remote ability to catch a football he will end up trying out that skill in the Canadian Football Leauge.
