Seriously, I can picture it now, Mrs Ned on the couch watching the game, Ned - in an apron - hovering behind her, fetching cold drinks, munchies, and snacks at her whim.
Then, on the final drive of O.T., Ned sits next to her, tearfully, and says, "Why won't you ever talk to me...is this game more important than I am?"

Make the big lug wait on you hand and foot.
Now is a great time to ask for foot rubs...while he's feeling guilty.
I'll bet you can even get a load of laundry or two out of him - so long as you don't mind pink clothes (Men don't seperate colors from whites...ever).
