Re: George Mikan, Former Minneapolis Laker, First NBA MVP, D

Anybody who brings 5 championships to Minnesota is a legend in my book! Rest in peace. Also, Shaq has earned much respect in my book for offering to pay for the funeral, knowing that the Mikan family has had financial hardships the last few years to pay for his medical bills!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

    Great guy and basketball player.
Wilt was the BIG MAN in the 60s...Mikan was the ORIGINAL BIG MAN...in the late 40s and early 50s!

Shaq is awesome.. I hated him when he was on the Lakers.. But since he went to Heat i thought he was cooler.. Then i kept reading things and watching tv shows with him on it and he is a great guy.. and just too funny
