I have memorized a George Carlin bit - it's from a bit he did called "Some Werdz". It goes like this:

Hmm all this time i thought it was hatchette, racthette. How do you know for sure it goes like that? Very interestinting and funny though.

Probably just looking for more new material...props for recognizing a potential problem and correcting it before something bad happens. Imagine if Richard Pryor would have done the same thing before his accident...we would still probably have the benefit of his comedic talents still today instead of the shell that he has become...Sad.
