Thread: Geoeye High Resolution Satelite Launch

Geoeye-1,
was successfully launched today in Cali.
I watched the launch and was excited to see it was a big thumbs up.

If you think some of the high resolution pictures you can see on the internet these days, of places and things on this planet, what till you see what this satelite is going to be sending back for pics.

There is a great number of uses for the satelite and it's capabilitys, from Military to farmers.
Read up some on it, and I think
you'll be really suprised at just how detailed these photo images are going to be.
Google already has a huge contract with Geoeye for their satelite service, and I'm sure in the not to far future, we will all get to see what it can do on the net.





I also heard that the Patriots front office and coaching staff is looking into the service.... ;D
