Here in SW Ohio, it's anywhere from 2.15 to 2.35.

But, our gas prices are relativley cheap compared to the rest of the world.

$2.39 in Wisconsin. We get spiked a bit more than the surrounding areas, and we've never figured out why.

Last trip I made to Mankato, It was amazing watching the prices go down by 20 cents as I drove.

I don't know about up towards Green Bay, but in the 5 counties that are closest to lake Michigan gas is more expensive because they have to put something in the gas to make it cleaner or something. It's 2.39 this morning, but when I go to fill up at 5 (after work) it will probably be about 2.50! I guess that's what I get for waiting!

I'm not sure how this compares to the American gallon but...gas is 99 cents a litre in my city...that's $4.50 an imperial gallon...(slightly larger than a U.S. gallon!)...it costs me $90 ($75.00 U.S.) to fill my Dodge Dakota when it's dead empty!!

Before you attempt to beat the odds, be sure you could survive the odds beating you.

    Re: Gas Prices

My Oil and Gas Law professor had us read the Pulitzer Prize winning book "The Prize" by Daniel Yergin...gives you the real history of oil and its seductive hold on us...there is a picture of a young George Bush Sr. with an even younger W (both dressed in suits and on an oil rig in the Middle East...that picture says it all for me)...if you get the chance, read the book...or if you are lazy, find a videotape of the documentary based on the book.or tape it when it plays next on PBS...it is a real eye-opener!!!
