Funny prescription drug name
Anyone seen the commercial for this new acid reflux medicine? I'm in the dining room filling out some bills, and I hear the TV -"try new Aciphex"
???
I had to get up and go look to see just what the heck they were talking about. Where do they come up with this stuff? I thought the name Avodart was pretty bad for a prostate drug, ( I mean, keep the DARTS away from my prostate please), but ACIPHEX ?? HAHAHAHA

That's a good one...I know that the Pharmaceutical firms name them after the affliction (SOMinex, GERitol or ACIphex). I get a laugh out of the disclaimers at the end of the commercials...they really mean "don't take this if you want to live". ;DAny man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H.L. Yeah Mike, I like some of those disclaimers too. Like the sleep aid that "may cause drowsiness"-isn't it supposed to do that?
What drug is it that warns it's use may cause increased gambling or sexual urges? I want to get some of that and take the girlfriend to Vegas.
