Thread: Fundraiser dilema

I am the President of our local hockey association and we are in dire need on money. We have tried all kinds of fundraisers but in a small community its hard to raise money, especially with other organizations tapping the field. I came across this sure fire way to raise money, but the Michigan gaming authority shot it down. It has to do with sports and they consider any raffle to do with sports illegal. My question to you my fellow posters is: If you have an organization that is in need of money and would like to do a co-fundrasier, let me know. the website if anyone is looking for a great fundraiser is charitymania.com. It has the NFL, NHL, MLB, NASCAR and basketball . Check it out. I dont know if Wisconsin and Minnesota has those restricton too. but would love to find out. thanks (webby hope you dont mind the little soliciation)
