    Hi guys,

    I wanted to give you all an update on Freyas surgery. She did very well everything is fine and she's back in her room resting [Morphine induced of course lol]. Her brother is fine also. the kidney is functioning well. [It's probably all that purple plasma lol]. And as a side note, i'd like to say from the bottom of my heart thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers for her, it made my day go alot smoother. God bless all of you. you are great people and friends. of course she pays no attention to me now that she has P.P.O. lol . Just kidding guys. Thanks again for all your support, i'm glad she has all of you for friends. Take care and go Vikes.
    That's great news & thanks for the update! Glad all is well.

    I couldn't get any info out of my sister who's an RN at Mayo, but what she told me is;

    Donating a kidney is major surgery, but is done by laparoscope, so there are only 2 small incisions.
    Usually, they come in the day of surgery and can go home in a couple days.

    That amazing, when I had my gallbladder removed it was done laparoscopicly, I had the surgery Friday ( went home that afternoon ) and was back at work the following Tuesday. ( I'm stupid that way ) When my dad gave my mom a kidney over 10 years ago he has a scar close to a foot long.
    He was in the hospital for 5 days after that.

    Hope to see Freya posting soon, but take it easy don't mix it up with Caj for a few days ;D

    Good to hear that.. If you are her husband, I just want to say what a lucky guy you are to have such a caring, thoughtful woman as your wife.. Her brother is very lucky to have her as a sister as well..

    I hope everything continues to go great. Please tell her we are all thinking of her, and have her, and her brother in our thoughts and prayers..
