Franken saying he'll run for Senate
http://www.startribune.com/587/story/972540.html
Gezzzzzz, don't we have enough comedians in Washington already?Comedian and radio talk show host Al Franken has begun calling Democratic members of Congress and prominent DFLers to tell them he will definitely challenge Republican Sen. Norm Coleman in 2008 in Minnesota.

My Norm Coleman brush has been documented elsewhere on this site.
I met Franken in 1997 when he was the opening night speaker at the User Conference for the company I was working for at the time.
I walked into the can to take a wiz and there he was, washing his hands.
We exchanged nods and that was that.
I know.
Not a very exciting story.
Deal.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re: Franken saying he'll run for Senate
I've got seventeen posts as the over under on this thread about that no good commie liberal.
(no good commie liberal was not any reference to Mr. Frankenberry himself, just a reference to all no good commie liberals in order to win my bet with myself)

Re: Franken saying he'll run for Senate
haha.. i've read those rules a few times.
i'll be conservative and not say all my political views, which i think are right. i tend to not want to tax the readers of their valuable time when reading. i want no reader- some may be children- left behind when reading the threads. i do not want to obama-nate this forum by putting political garbage on iti m better than you, so just give up...
