Wow... I can't believe I didn't hear about this until now.

The last time I remember reading about him, it also involved him in his SUV.

A pending lawsuit claims Minnesota Timberwolves center Eddie Griffin was drunk, watching porn and masturbating when he drove his luxury SUV into a parked vehicle last March in Minneapolis.
I feel bad for ripping on the guy now.
    RIP.

Maybe he was doing the same thing and that's why he ran his SUV into a train this time.

Could be... But seriously I wonder if alcohol was involved again.
The article didn't mention it, but given the time of day (early AM) and the fact that he drove around the barricades and straight into a train makes a guy wonder.

Seeing as how is body was a charred heap...I wonder if alcohol tests are even possible.

I liked Griffen and the way he could block shots.
His style of play was more like a pick up game than NBA, mostly because I don't think he wanted to work at it.
He had the talent to play well in the NBA, just didn't want it bad enough.

"The worst thing in the world is wasted talent".......... quote from the movie A Bronx Tale.

I can't believe I didn't hear about this, I live here near Houston.
Actually I know two reason I didn't hear about it.
One, I stopped watching the news shortly after moving here because the news consists of how are you going to die, who just died, and who was just murdered.
Two, they probably didn't release the name because of the wait on the dental record id.
