    Football Quotes

In all honesty, the fault should go to Jerry Burns...he did not utilize Herschel near as much as he should have. I would have put his a$$ in on every offensive play (split out as a receiver, lined up in the backfield, on punt returns and kick returns, even in the backfield on punts so that the defense would have to worry about fakes). I would have even considered putting him on the other team's speed receiver on defense (just kidding), but the fact is that Burns sucked as a coach and he squandered the Vikings opportunity to do something special with Herschel on the team.

I have to agree with some of this, but I still remember Herschel running to the line turning around and trying to run backwards (what the hell was that).

    Thanks Del Rio, great post

Just a question for you, are you Texpack?

PM the answer, I will not tell anyone
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I doubt that Del is Tex, whack...although you never know. Del is too much of a turnaround in personality for someone like Tex to pretend to be...although there is a Del Rio in Texas, hmm. Nah, I still will stick to my gut feeling and state that Del and Tex are indeed two separate individuals.

    That hurts whack

    hurts bad.

This Del Rio is named after Jack Del Rio from the Vikings. I KNOW Studwell is better so no point arguing, and I KNOW some of you feel he is a Cowboy.

But Tex-Pac I am not, although I have been getting that alot lately. So I guess if you would tell me what I do that annoys you guys so much I can tone it down a bit.
