Thread: The Final Say on Star Wars!

After going to the Movies for episode I & II and being too disapointed I am now weary on wasting my money on episode III. So give me you final vote on where the movie ranks.

I see the 7 page thread on this topic, but I figured a poll would be nicer. :smile:

Seeing it on Wednesday, I told my g/f it was the best outside of EMPIRE. Seeing it again Friday, I bump it up to the best of the 6.

It's sadder than any of the other 5.

It's more dramatic than the other 5.

It' MUCH darker than the other 5.

It's makes suffering through the bland story of TPM and AOTC easier....and it makes a lot of sense and answers a lot of questions from the original 3.

GO SEE IT. NOW.

The best thing I can say about ROTS is this. Lord of the Rings surpassed Star Wars as my favorite movie story, event, etc, etc.

"Sith" has restored Star Wars to it's glory and put it back at #1 in my world. Take that for what it's worth.

Yeah, after Jar Jar and all the crap Lucas has done with his old movies, I kind of forgot to care about the 2 and 3.I hear the acting and dialogue are terrible and its probably only for die hards. I'll check on this thread in 4 years when I see it on Fox.

nah i saw it last night and i never watch star wars movies! t'was amazing really! you should see it or if you rather wait to rent it sure! thumbs up!

I agree 100% with that everything is definatley so much sadder becuase you know the Anakin is gonna turn to the dark side but ur just wishing that somehow he will stay good. But when he killed the younglings and almost killed Padame by force choking her it was just so sad. And to see everything like fall into place like it did because I was wonderin how all these guys were gonna die but they did it in perfect places. I like how they used the Episode 2 cartoons in the movie (Why Grevious was always coughing ( Mace Windu force choked him)). It was just perfect. I suggest anyone who hasnt seen it should go now because it is worth the 7 dollars you pay to get in.

I agree with Ultra, this one was the best of the new ones, but not as good as episodes 4-6. You just really don't care about the characters. Here are my beefs with the movie:

1. The acting and dialogue was bland
2. Like the other two it became too much of a special effects movie
3. The new characters always seem to suck
4. Anakin is a p*ssy and it retarded, hard to sympathize with him

In the end, this movie is worth seeing, but not worth gettin excited about.

That's complete crap. It's bad in SPOTS, but overall it's pretty damn good.
