Fed Up! (warning, first ever mega rant in 7 years)

I am officially fed up. :shock:

I invite *some* of you to re-read these forum rules and the etiquette that is, well was, the shining light of this site.

The amount of arguing transforming into personal attacks is UNACCEPTABLE and is a sure way for me to buh-bye you.

I have been very tolerant, I know everyone is mad. Some people acting out of character. But if this continues, and especially from the newbs or those simply here to put people up in arms....cripes, why put me in that position, folks?

You are instructed upon joining to review the rules. Do so. Those that need a refresher, please check. Boil it down to this: respect each other. Disagree if you want, but respectfully. If you are not adult enough to do so, you belong on another site where swearing like Favre's last boy toy after a GB choke and general childish behavior is the norm.

Most of us prefer a friendlier environment. Please remember that, and each do your part. Its the long-timers and old timers here who helped convince each of you to sign in to this community...because it was enjoyable and friendly. It is your duty to keep up your part of the bargain as a member. You can agree to disagree, or learn it fast.

Wait, I have just a little more in me: you are here on the site, posting, reading. You are obviously a fan, because if you weren't you wouldn't be exerting the effort to post. So LAY OFF one another with this fan crap. For the love all all things Valhalla, we're all in this boat together. Up, down, sideways. And for those extolling their football genius, fine. But trust me, others don't agree. Just like for all my awesomeness :roll: people regularly disagree with my assessments. I can be right, and I can be wrong. No-one is football smarter than the other, or you'd be the flippin' coach.

Be good to your Vikings brother and sisters and you shall be rewarded.

Webby, we as a Viking community must stick together and be more positive in general. Tolerance with others opinions, even negative will pull everyone together when we focus more positively, and stop berating our team as it struggles. Now is the time for unity and solidarity. You gotta believe.... Adversity builds if we can weather the storm.. Peace Viking fans everywhere.
