Favorite TV shows

I was bored (again), and I got to thinking about TV shows for some reason. So, what are your favorite TV shows?

Mine are:

Family Guy (easily my favorite)
Lost
Simpsons
CSI

TV sucks. I pretty much only watch sports, CNN, and movies, although I do like The Daily Show and Family Guy.

I'm love the family shows

Simpsons
Family Guy
Married with Children

and the Daily Show and Colbert Report keep me up to speed with current events

the rest of my time is consumed by the NFL Network & PPO

once in a while I hear voices calling me dad but I tend to tune that out

Upon further review :grin: I've decided that I like TV more than I thought. I too like a lot of the older TV shows, including the ones you mentioned. Soap, Taxi, The Honeymooners, The Twilight Zone and Northern Exposure were also excellent shows.

On current cable TV, I highly recommend the HBO series Deadwood; it kicks some serious booty. Sci-fi's remake of Battlestar Galactica is pretty good too. The Office (on NBC) is also a hilarious show you should look for.

While I'm not a couch-potato by any means, I do find the following programs entertaining...

The Sopranos, Kenny vs. Spenny, Intervention, Ghost Hunters, Scare Tactics, Survivorman, Last Comic Standing and Hell's Kitchen.

Classics: Seinfield, X-Files, The Outer Limits, The Twilight Zone and Star Trek NG.
