I am beyond sorry that this thread has gotten such short shrift.
Prophet, you get props all the time from your fellow vikes fans, but I just gotta say that if this isn't the funniest concept I have read, it's pretty darn close.
I initially read this a couple of days ago... ever since I've been trying to figure out a way to incorporate it into some of the Puker threads in which I am an active participant.
Unfortunately, I lack the requisite intellect to invent a methodology to broach the subject of either CSA or FAA.
I humbly ask those of you willing to take pity on a poor dumb Puker fan such as myself to take a moment to develop a strategy on my behalf that I might employ in order to quell the Brett Favre CSers without causing my permanent banishment from those environs.
I fully recognize that an argument could be made that you might consider this aiding and abetting, but based the myriad of threads I have read over the past few years on this forum, I remain confident that you will overcome any internal conundrums and throw a few crumbs my way.
As bad as it is in Puker land, this whole thread has given me renewed hope for the basic fairness and common sense found in most... well, at least those west of the Mississipi river.
I don't know if anyone will even respond to this desperate plea, but regardless, +1 squared (see, I suck at math, too) for a very, very funny interpretation of a very sad affliction.
    ;D
Sorry but after he left I became a crotch sniffer of Favre. Love how he stuck it to the Pack. Heres to him having a better year than Rodgers. Favre is god!
Shhhhh, don't tell anyone but I have watched alot of his play this year and strangely have been hoping for the same (that he will have a better year).
For a minute there I thought you were going to say you wish he was here. He is playing pretty well for the little time he had to get ready for a season eh Marr. So much for that statement of him needing time to get in synch with his WRs and a new system. He did it pretty quick. It is too bad Childress and Bevell fucked it up with there phone calls.

If you get a chance today, go over to Packerhome and read the thread about the Favre/Romo phone call.
I put something up in there that I'll bet will make you laugh.
BTW, thanks in part to the BF crotch-sniffers, I have decided that it would be OK for BF to possibly finish out his career as a Viking.
I would like to see what it would be like to have to play against him.
I think my boy Aaron would compare quite favorably in that match-up, so I reckon I'm already well on my way to aquiring the contagion, which I don't remember any of you warning about it's transmissability as regards other players/fans.

I think my contention was that it would take him around 4-5 weeks to get comfortable.
Seems week 5 or 6 was when he had his first good game.

I acknowledge that I am a yutz, however, sometimes I am pretty close with my assessments, at least in my little world.

    Re: FanAutofellatio Anonymous (FAA)

Back to the subject at hand, I am going to have to formally request an audience with the all-knowing, all seeing- Prophet... You see, I attempted to interject the concept of CSA into my "home thread" by making an oblique reference to it in an unrelated matter.
The absolute neatest part of the CSA thesis was discovered by me when I entered the term in a Google search box.
Well, what do you figure pops up when you do that?
Yep, the most magnificent one's thread here on P.P.O. Sadly, while I cannot speak for all Puker fans (you guys have done that for me over the years), those afflicted with CSA apparently also suffer from a concurrent condition known as dumberthanaboxofrocks disease. I know this to be true because there was no feedback and/or query into the CSA condition, and trust me, amongst that crowd there certainly would have been had they not watched the allusion fly over their heads in much the same manner as a lone B-52 at the upper reaches of it's altitude envelope.
I need a reference to the concept strong enough to pierce the cranium of a Puker moron, yet just subtle enough to prevent me from being flamed until Aaron Rodgers reaches retirement age.
Can you see why I need the acumen of the Prophet?

    There is no team concept.
This disease has been brought under control on the site, but, a new disease has appeared to surface.

The new disease is called Fanautofellatio.
Fanautofellatio is defined as a person that is willing to forego their allegiance to the team because a player from a team they dislike is signed to their team.
At the moment there is no known cure, but, we have counseling services available in a newly formed group called FanAutofellatio Anonymous (FAA).

Remember, both of these diseases are harmful and potentially dangerous.
It is our civic duty to identify individuals with these disorders and try to correct their incoherent and illogical thoughts.
It is up to us to help.
Just a reminder, there is help available.

Marrdro, this is the condition that you have. Unfortunately, there is still no known cure.
