FanAutofellatio Anonymous (FAA)

We all know that some people are crotch sniffers and there's help offered on the site with the Crotch Sniffer's Anonymous club.
Remember, a crotch sniffer is defined as a person that follows an individual player and never accepts that the player can do wrong, regardless of the evidence against him.
There is no team concept.
This disease has been brought under control on the site, but, a new disease has appeared to surface.

The new disease is called Fanautofellatio.
Fanautofellatio is defined as a person that is willing to forego their allegiance to the team because a player from a team they dislike is signed to their team.
At the moment there is no known cure, but, we have counseling services available in a newly formed group called FanAutofellatio Anonymous (FAA).

Remember, both of these diseases are harmful and potentially dangerous.
It is our civic duty to identify individuals with these disorders and try to correct their incoherent and illogical thoughts.
It is up to us to help.

The sniffers I can deal with.

But abandoning years of allegiance to a team because they signed someone you don't like?

That's Communism.

The advanced stages of either disease results in the fan disowning the team.
In one case (CSA) it is to follow the player and support another team in the other case (FAA) it is because a player joined the team so the pateint ceases to be a fan.
Neither can be taken lightly.

Those afflicted by CSA who leave their "team" were never fans of the "team" to begin with, my empirical research shows.
Typically, a "team-first" fan victimized by CSA continues to be a "True Fan" of the team, as well as sniffing his way into the "fandom" of the new "team".

FAAholics abandon their team totally for irrational reasons.
Those people need to be sent an island like lepers or the Olson Twins.

Good points.
That will have to be considered during the counseling process.
FAA should be taken much more seriously.
The most recent studies have shown that neither of these conditions are contagious, so we are just working for the benefit of the inflicted individuals.
The latest FAA study shows that the initial signs of FAA are denial and avoiding the problem by inundating your time with hobbies, like fishing.
This is just preliminary information, but the disease is relatively new and the funding for research is just being made available.

The only "good" thing about FFA is that you can buy those fans Viking tickets cheap.
