As a Los Angeles Lakers fan, I have TRUE RESPECT for the Celtics and this sucked to hear. I'll never forget that game winning shot in the Finals against L.A.

I don't really remember him that well.. I remember hearing his name, but don't ever recall watching him play.. Thats to bad that he died that young.. RIP Dennis Johnson..

This is a sad day! I'm a Celtics fan....and I will never forget the "And there's a steal by Bird. Bird lays it off to DJ!" call against the Pistons.

It's a sad thing that he died so young too....very unexpected. RIP DJ! Thanks for the memories.

I remember him too. Clutch player . 52?? My goodness, I'm going for a check-up soon. I bet Boston area cardiologists' offices take a lot of calls for appointments tomorrow. Wow.
