"The coach is a real asshole, and should be strung up by the neck."

If he didn't want the kid to play, he shouldn't have accepted him on the team to begin with if he felt he wasn't good enough, and maybe shouldn't have accepted the coaching position if he knew he wouldn't be allowed to have his best players out on the field for the entire game.. a position I wouldn't accept if I were interested in coaching 'cause I wouldn't agree with a rule like that. It was a jerkish act on this guy's part nonetheless, whether he had a say or not in whether the child could play for his squad.
