Thread: European Slowpitch Softball Coed Championships

These Championships are on from the 23-28th of August in Linz, Austria. I am the manager of the Irish Softball team. We are the 2nd ranked team in these Championships.

I will try to get some updates on the website if I can, but if you could all cross your fingers for us, I'd gretaly appreciate it.

I will be wearing my 47 ( Joey Browner) jersey with ( Purple) pride.

If we win, I'll even post another " Great" joke.

Everything is crossed GOOD LUCK EBBS we are looking forward to the Joke, one of my favoite sports by the way, what size ball are you all playing?

12" 525, .44 corr fastpitch ball with raised seams. We don't have the consistant power hitters in Europe, so the organisers hope these will go over the fence a little more readily.

Should??? VKG4LFE should have some great pointers for Softball.
:scratch: I think I remember he played alot of ball and coaches as well....you all use metal bats or wood??? the reason I ask is we found that the wooded bats for soft ball hit better as it griped the ball (kind of say) and would help so so batters get better control and power again Good luck :cheers: let us know how you all get on

I played baseball up until my junior year in collge, but now I coach both fastpitch softball and baseball. I really don't think there is anything I can do/say to EBBS that would help him. He could probably help me!!
