EURO 2008

The biggest international soccer tournament apart from the World Cup kicks off on Saturday with the Swiss playing the Czech Republic in Basel. The tournament will be co-hosted by Switzerland and Austria and consists of four groups of four with the top two teams progressing to the knock out phase, ending with the final in Vienna on the 29th June to decide the best team in Europe. No British teams qualified which takes a lot of the fun away for me, but putting a bet on will at least give me a team to cheer on, I just haven't decided who to back yet.

those teams didnt qualify. LOL.

i am so pumped for the euro. it is some of the best soccer you can get next to world cup. should be really good. ill be cheering for the germans (my grandmother is german) until they choke it away in the later rounds.

I think that has happend to every team ..
I hope Russia does good, with a coach of Hiddink they could do anything but England got played away by Croatia at Home they did not deserve it
