Environmental Protest next to my work

Police close downtown streets for protest
October 10, 2007 - Police have closed a couple of streets in the Loop for an environmental protest.
The streets near Jackson and LaSalle were closed after the group attempted to hang a banner on the side of the Chicago Board of Trade.
There are reports that the protesters were climbing the building.
This was right next to the building where I work. They arrested one of the protesters on the street, but there were two others scaling the side of the building in order to hang the banner. They pulled them in through the windows of the Board of Trade building, and then pulled the banner up from the roof.
Just another interesting way to start the work day....
